I thought it fit quite a bit ^^. LJ only, by the way.
Healthy New Year to you all!
Jan. 1st, 2012 01:37 amI'm so thankful for my online friends and acquaintances in 2011. Your posts always were great distractions, sometimes were fascinating new ideas and discoveries and occasionally real emotional help and succor.
This was the year that I really used GoodReads to the max and got my reading groove back - and mostly managed to write something about every book I'd read. Apart from comments I haven't written so much regularly since... 2007? At least?
Here's some creative stuff that I really enjoyed on the internet this year:

Here's some creative stuff that I really enjoyed on the internet this year:
- Chaka Khan, Stevie Wonder, Prince,India Arie,Yolanda Adams,2 - Chaka Khan Medley BET Awards
- 2011 Worlds: Daisuke Takahashi short program - Mambo
- All that Crazy Mambo - Friends on Ice 2011 - Daisuke Takahashi, Shae-Lynn Bourne, Shizuka Arakawa, Akiko Suzuki and Takahiko Kozuka in Mambo
- In Your Arms - Kina Grannis (Official Music Video) - A Jelly Bean homage to Aardvark Animations Sledgehammer video, if you ask me
- Winter Solstice short story by Diane Duane
- The 10 amazing paper sculptures that a friend of words and art created for various libraries and museums in Edinburgh - all anonymous and she's female as she said in the final letter.
- Alaa Wardi - Ma3gool - I would never have thought I would like a Saudi Arabian male making music, considering my prejudice toward Arabian men (Hi Dad ^^;). If you like this check his other music, not all a capella but always interesting.
- Ryan Woodward - Thought of You (Music by the Weepies) which I actually discovered in January 2011
Okay, I don't think all that many people expect a post from this LJ so I don't even know if I'll get any results, but I am curious (I found it interesting that there were anon/anonymous posters on the windows of the two mentioned LJ friends ^^)
Please tell me how I come across on the internet ^^
